The perfect brunch cocktail. Rich, savoury and with an unexpected sweet heat from spicy honey that makes a classic Bloody Mary even brighter. Bacon cooked with spicy honey is the star of the garnish.

- 1
Mix it all. Add the honey, vodka, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, lemon juice, celery salt and black pepper to a shaker with ice. Shake gently for 10–15 seconds.

Chef's tips
- —Cook the bacon ahead and let it cool completely before using.
- —Adjust the horseradish and spicy honey to your heat level.
- —Rim the glass with celery salt or Old Bay for extra flavour.
- —Add a drop of liquid smoke for a smoky note. Serve with a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich or jalapeño poppers.
